LCMS Disaster Response and the Florida-Georgia District work together to provide respite, counseling and aftercare for pastors and their families following catastrophic events.
The conference will provide opportunities to learn from those who have experienced disaster around the world.
Some 800 homes are in need of repair after an EF-3 tornado roars through New Orleans East Feb. 7.
Gifts can be made in a variety of ways — by mail, over the phone, in person or online — through Dec. 31.
The gifts totaling $411,305.69 will be used to support “ministry priorities” including national and international mission work and the Synod’s two seminaries.
