LCMS Witness & Outreach: re:Vitality and Every One His Witness

re:Vitality and Every One His Witness are separate, robust programs designed to complement and build upon each other. re:Vitality equips congregations and Every One His Witness equips individuals — both with the same purpose: to join in God’s mission to seek and to save the lost.

  • Revitalization. Many in the church are talking about it. In fact, every church needs revitalization. Revitalization is part of our ongoing work. LCMS Witness & Outreach Ministry has created a large-scale answer to the need for revitalization with the re:Vitality Lutheran revitalization program.
  • Every One His Witness is a burgeoning Lutheran evangelism program. Building on the solid foundation of Scripture and The Lutheran Confessions, Every One His Witness equips Lutherans to engage non-churched people in real-world contexts. God seeks and saves the lost. He uses His witnesses as instruments through whom He brings His Word to those He has chosen for eternal life.

What resources are available for veterans of our wars? Do we provide any materials for them? Any help with their ongoing struggles? Our church ladies aid would like to help veterans.

Dorothee, Yes! LCMS continues to provide Lutheran devotional materials and resources to the men and women who selflessly serve our nation in the military as well as to our veterans through our Ministry to the Armed Forces. Please feel free to contact me through the LCMS Church Information Center at 888-843-5267 and we would love to share all the materials and support we provide from bible studies, devotionals and support materials on many issues (PTSD, separation, isolation, etc.) our military connected people face. Operation Barnabas is our project that reaches out to Veterans. Please take a look at the website http://www.lcms.org/armedforces and/or give me a call.

God’s blessings! Thanks for thinking of our all our military connected people and their spiritual needs.

Sincerely, Chaplain Craig Muehler, CAPT, CHC, USN (Ret); Director, LCMS Ministry to the Armed Forces.
