Do you have the bulletin sentences for the entire year available for us to download or just month to month?

Thank you for your comment. These are created one month at at time.

I am the newsletter editor for my church. My deadline for the month is usually around the 20th of the previous month so the members get the issue by the 1st. When are these articles available?

Thank you for your comment. Our goal is to have resources available by the 15th of of the previous month barring any production issues.

I am over 70 1/2 and am required to take a RMD from both mine and my wife’s IRA. With the new tax law both my financial advisor and CPA advised me to have my RMD reduced by paying my charities in a lump sum for the year.

In the past I ran stewardship programs that encouraged people to give weekly.

So what program do you have that encourages us to us the RMD thereby reducing income and saving both federal and state taxes.

      Thank you for your comment.

The Biblical pattern in both the Old and New Testaments encourage us to give whenever we have income. If you are taking your yearly required minimum distribution at once, that would be the time to give your tithes and offerings.

If this leads to a sudden change in your giving patterns from smaller weekly giving to larger annual giving, your congregation’s financial secretary might appreciate a heads up. This is especially the case if you attend a smaller congregation. Cash flow planning is important for churches just as it is for our households.

May the Lord bless your generosity!

      In Christ,
