I am turned off by this increasing development of the ‘force’ into a religion. I do think this movie series will lead young adults into mysticism and idol worship. I my self do not plan to see this movie but I understand it will be a huge hit with more episodes planned.
    HUGS! Karen

I don’t think so. I am a teacher in the LCMS and a huge Star Wars fan. These movies in no way leads youth into “mysticism and idol worship”. How about a sense of science fiction fantasy and get away for a moment from the awful world we live in and get our minds lost into the movies for once?

This is the prequel we’ve been looking for….for a long time ago.

    🙂

What I took away from the movie is the power of loyalty, devotion to duty, friendship and the sense of a duty and calling to something greater than merely serving yourself. I found it uplifting and inspiring, aside from being the best STAR WARS movie, in my opinion, since the very first one in 1977.
