The Lutheran Witness welcomes notices 50 words or less from LCMS congre­gations about their upcoming “milestone” anniversaries. The deadline for re­ceipt of such notices is the 10th of the month two months prior to the publi­cation month (e.g., July 10 for the September issue). Send notices to — Ed.

Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Brownsburg, Ind., will celebrate its 40th anniversary September 25, featuring a guest speaker at the 10:30 a.m. service followed by a meal for current and former members. Nicolai Lutheran Church, Canby, Minn., is celebrating its 125th anniversary Sunday, September 18. Divine service will be at 10:30 a.m., followed by a catered dinner.
