As a hospice nurse, I have had the honor to be in attendance at the moment of death of many people. As a Christian, I am in awe of the mercy and grace given to many of them that allows that peaceful death. God is good and I am reminded that even at the moment of death, the believer is never alone. In Luke 16:22 we see that the angels carried the beggar to Abraham’s side. I have reminded many people of that peace awaiting them when they die!

    Rachel –

My father just passed away very suddenly last Sunday. He was a truly amazing man who was a faithful servant and loved our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This has been an incredibly difficult week for my family but your words are very comforting and a great reminder of what God has done for us through His son. Death is tragic, but it’s not the end!!!! Praise be to God!!! Thank you Rachel 🙂
