  1. Wonderful news. Matt Harrison has done a wonderful job and I’m glad to see he will continue his work as president.

  2. Doug says:

Q: did the use of electronic voting result in the disenfranchising some of the voters, given that only 78.43% actually voted, thus resulting in Rev. Pres. Harrison’s election representing not 66.26% of the Synod, but in actuality only 51.98% (66.26% of the 78.43% voting)?

Might the percentage voting had been higher if the “traditional” paper ballot or an electronic real-time voting system had been used at convention?

Further, why the rush to elect in advance of the actual convention? Is not one of the duties and privileges of delegates to take such action in person at the convention?

  3. Dr. Ralph E. Spraker, Jr. says:

  11. Stef says:

I just read a despicable sequence of events on http://steadfastlutherans.org/?p=31451 in connection with CRM and lost pastors.
Continuing with our posts on the Lost Pastors (and here), and our concern for Resolution 3-10 “kicking the can” down the road to the 2016 convention, here’s an article found over on Pastor Kornacki’s blog, pastoralkorn.blogspot.com which adds a personal story behind the problem of men who are stuck on CRM.

Mr Harrison, you should be hanging your head in shame!
