A timely reminder

God be praised for the wonderful “What’s New at Our Concordias?” found in the April Lutheran Witness. It is good for LCMS members to know that our colleges and universities continue to find innovative ways to bring solid Lutheran higher education to increasing numbers of people, both extending Gospel witness and staying solvent in the face of ever-decreasing financial support from corporate Synod.

In the discussion on graduate cohorts in the field of education, I looked in vain for reference to Concordia Ann Arbor’s Master of Science in Educational Leadership program. As an undergraduate alumnus and a current MSEL student at Ann Arbor, I want others to know what a great school the Synod has in Michigan. I was very well prepared to begin my teaching ministry back in 1984 and am very pleased with the quality of the courses and instructors I have had in the MSEL program.

The LCMS is blessed to have such a fantastic system of Christian education from preschool through seminary. We have 10 fine schools in the Concordia University System. I just wanted to remind everyone that one of those fine schools is on the banks of the Huron River in Ann Arbor, Mich. (Check out www.cuaa.edu)!
