Do you have a good Christmas story?

Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM), St. Louis, is looking for an interesting children’s story that reflects the “true meaning of Christmas” and is sponsoring a writing contest to find it.

The author of the winning story will receive a cash prize of $100, and LHM may choose to develop the story for use in its ministries.

Stories submitted to the contest must be original, unpublished compositions of no more than 2,000 words.  Deadline for entries is Jan. 6.

For more information, or to submit your story online, visit LHM’s “Joy Around the World” Web site.  The site also offers descriptions of Christmas traditions, recipes, and downloadable Christmas music from around the world, children’s coloring pages and links to the “Little Shepherd” and “Red Boots for Christmas” Web sites, and a Christmas quiz.
