Following a fresh round of violent demonstrations in Haiti, the U.S. State Department has upgraded the Travel Advisory for the country to a Level 4 — Do Not Travel.

She discusses service opportunities for medical professionals and laity overseas in this program. The geographical areas of service and how the program assists LCMS missionaries and partner churches on the field were also explained.

Mercy Medical Teams seek volunteers

Volunteers are needed to staff five Mercy Medical Teams that will serve in Madagascar, the Dominican Republic, Kenya and Kyrgyzstan in 2014.
