  1. Ronald Meier says:

My wife and I remember Ron and his wife for their hospitality in the mid 80’s when our son was playing in a tournament at Madison Square Gardens. Peace to his family

  2. Donald Miles says:

I came to the Atlantic District as a second career pastor, age 46. Ron was a pastor to me and a role model in the sort of care that an effective pastor will give to his people. For example, he would visit every pastor and his wife in the District at least once a year. He always asked to be invited to dinner so that he could see the pastor’s family and especially to listen to the wives. My wife was blessed that he always asked about her comfort with the church and her marriage. She could tell that he knew that a healthy relationship between pastor and wife was important to the congregation, but she had at times felt that the Synod paid little attention to this dimension of ministry.

  3. Rick Zimmer says:

I was so saddened to find the news of Pastor Fink’s passing while searching for him online. We had lost touch with one another shortly after he left Trinity Lutheran in Orlando and moved to North Carolina. I was blessed with the opportunity to share a visit with him and Millie at their new home there about 10 years ago.

He was a wonderful pastor, teacher, and friend and I have missed him and now will continue to do so for the rest of my life.

My deepest sympathies to Millie and the rest of the family and may God’s love be with you.
