Concordia Seminary is seeking comments from the public about the seminary in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its two accrediting agencies. The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC) will conduct a site visit on March 17-19, 2014. The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS) will conduct their site visit on March 24-27, 2014. These teams will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the respective criteria and standards for accreditation. Concordia Seminary has been accredited by the HLC since 1978 and by the ATS since 1963.
The public is invited to submit comments regarding the seminary. Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs and must be in writing.
