God’s Word to the Nations, an LCMS mission society based in Cleveland, is offering “handy-size”
editions of three of its specialty Bibles — GOD’S WORD of Freedom, designed for armed-forces personnel; GOD’S WORD to the Nations, for international students and immigrants; and The Xtreme Good News, for youth.
The smaller editions, 5 1/2-by-8 3/8 inches in size and less than an inch thick, may be purchased by the case for distribution to congregation members or to non-members at 4th of July and other community celebrations or outreach events, according to Rev. Michael Hackbardt, the society’s executive director.
A case of 26 copies costs $75; single copies are $3.95 each. Shipping is extra.
